DOC 140 - Epoxy River Rock Binder is a two component 100% solids epoxy system designed for use as a river rock binder or for other decorative stones, and wood pieces. The formulation viscosity is specifically designed for binding together larger aggregate to form a decorative finish. Commonly known as rock carpet DOC 140 is easy to use, has good elongation, and has a strong bond.
Applications include: Entry ways, walkways, patios, sidewalks, sunrooms, decks, indoors and outdoors are great for this application. If using outdoors it is essential to top coat with an aliphatic urethane to insure UV stability and increased abrasion resistance.
Packaging: 3 gallon kit. 1 gallon part A, 1 gallon part B. Mix ratio 2:1 9.35 pounds part A (1 gallon) to 4.0 pounds part B (.50 gallons). Comes packaged as (2) 1 gallons part A, (2) .50 gallons part B total approximate 3 gallons.
Coverage: Variable dependent on aggregate used and thickness of application.
